School Uniform

School uniform plays a valuable role in contribution to the ethos of a school and setting the appropriate tone. We believe that our uniform can: instil pride; support positive behaviour and discipline; encourage identify with, and support for, school ethos; ensure that students of all races and backgrounds feel welcome; protect students from social pressures to dress in a certain way; and nurture cohesion and promote good relations between different groups of students; supports effective teaching and learning.

Years 7 to 10 inclusive

Year 11 only

For 2017/18 transition year only.

White formal collar shirt which is long enough to tuck in –NOT polo shirts.

Ties – there are four ties, navy with a thin coloured stripe to denote which form group (house) a student belongs to. These are not clip-on ties.

Navy cardigan with school logo OR Navy V-necked jumper with school logo – no other cardigan/jumper may be worn.

Black skirt or trousers- the length of the skirt should be knee length, ‘ribbed band mini skirts’ are not allowed.

Black shoes – not boots, Ugg boots, sandals, trainers or pumps.

Year 8-11 Sports Uniform

School reversible rugby jersey

Navy blue shorts

PE shirt with school logo

Plain gold socks

Training shoes (not black soled or pumps)

Hockey or football boots (not for use on G3)

One piece swimming costume

Tracksuit (optional)

Towel (for showers & swimming)

A gum shield is highly recommended for all students for certain sporting activities such as rugby, hockey, etc. in line with sporting guidelines.
